About Paradise Bicycles

Paradise Bicycle Store FrontIf you are looking for a new bike or something related to bicycling, Paradise Bicycles may have just what you are looking for. Paradise operates three locations in Lee County, one at 1712 Del Prado Blvd. in Cape Coral, at 9377 Six Mile Cypress Parkway in Fort Myers and Go Girl Cycling next door.

Paradise primarily handles Giant & Specialized bikes, including theTerra Trike line. Between the 2 locations we normally have over 700 bikes available in stock, giving us the largest selection in Southwest Florida. The Fort Myers location, which opened in December 2009, is located less than half of a mile off exit 136, making it very convenient for those coming in from Naples, Punta Gorda or beyond.

Buying a bike for fitness or competition shouldn’t be like buying a DVD where you look at the outside, check the price and go pay for it. Bikes stopped being toys when you stopped putting baseball cards in the spokes or trying to pop wheelies. Buying a serious piece of equipment is where a shop like Paradise really shows its value.

Our experienced staff isn’t here to just sell you a bike; we are here to help you pick the right bike. Sure you can buy a bike at Wal-Mart, but who are you going to ask for advice? The guy who was just stocking the freezer aisle? A bike is an investment, not just in the bicycle itself, but in your health. A bike that fits you properly will increase your enjoyment and comfort. Paradise staffers have the expertise to help you choose the correct bike for your needs and the ability to make the adjustments that you need to get a perfect fit. Owner Lynne Sharp said that one of the primary reasons we decided to handle Giant and Specialized was the variety in the company’s product line. She feels that whether you are the most casual of riders or an elite competitor, our brands can probably cover your needs.

The benefits of a shop like Paradise don’t end there. We have a full service department, staffed by experienced bike mechanics that have education from some of the leading institutes in the industry like the United Bicycle Institute . We can service any bike, regardless of manufacturer or purchase location.

The store also stocks a complete line of accessories, apparel and shoes. Our comprehensive website has everything from a route mapping tool and tips to free classified ads and weather reports. The site also has an impressive directory of links to companies, organizations and events.

Paradise stays involved with the cycling community locally. According to owner Jonathen Sharp, events are in the works for the year, including seminars to keep their customers informed and educated. So give either location a visit and see what they can do for you.
